We are committed to bringing glory to God by equipping each other for Christ-Like servant leadership in their homes, church, workplace and community with the goal of becoming more like Christ.
EMPOWERING MEN
This ministry for men creates a bond for men by giving them a forum in which to share and a reason for getting together. Like a fire of burning coals, the combined energy of men gathered together draws men toward the flame and keeps them active and encouraged by other members involved.
The fact is in church, women have filled more pews and volunteer positions and participated in more activities than men. If CCI needs to strengthen her presence in the lives of men, then we need to empower men (single, widowed, married) to feel welcome and ensure they have something to do in building the kingdom of God and our communities at large.
An effective men’s ministry tells men that church cares about their interests and needs. It also encourages, promotes, and sponsors activities that will attract more men from the community.
Scripture is clear about the leadership roles that men have as husbands and fathers, as employees or business owners, and as leaders in the church. They are called to show and exhibit integrity, character, and humility in upholding our Christian principles.
“Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” – Philippians 2:3
“Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” – Ephesians 6:11
