Today’s Youth is longing for encouragement and spiritual guidance. Our church has a great vision and passion for reaching our youth! We serve youth from age 13 to age 18 through outreach and activities geared towards their interests. We as the Pastoral & Leadership Team embrace this priority and take it seriously.
NO YOUTH LEFT BEHIND’ VISION
Oversee the Youth Ministry in the Church
- Actively recruit youth into our various church youth programs.
- Keep an up-to-date database of the youth in the church.
Provide for Sunday School, Lock-ins, Retreats, Trips etc. for our Youth
- Organize the logistics for all youth programs and activities.
- Recruit teachers and other helpers for youth programs, trips and activities.
- Maintain a dynamic Youth Ministry in the Church.
Youth In-Reach and Out-Reach
- Ensure a dynamic follow-up of all the youth in the church “No Youth Left Behind.”
- Set up programs to reach out to other youths in the community.
Proms to Academic Awards
- Provide for a dynamic curricula for our Church youth.
- Be diligent in celebrating special days and any other occasions or awards earned by our Church youth: Examples include academic achievements, birthdays, graduations, parties, proms etc.
Mobilize a Support Group for our Youth
- In the event of misfortunes i.e. divorce, death, grief, school transfer etc.
- Organize special prayers and visitations in case of special needs.
- Offer counseling care for our Church youth.
- Advise the Pastor of any needs or issues pertaining to our Church youth.
